An Introduction To Essential Oils.

As far as using essential oils as plant medicine, useful ideas include dripping them like raindrops up and down your spine, massaging them on your sternum/heart space, neck, wrist pulse area, temples, bridge of nose (third eye). There are endless uses and topical placements. Oils such as birch, peppermint, and wintergreen are warming and soothing to sore muscles, bruises, even neuropathy.

I often place oil at the occipital ridges and notch (base of skull, top of neck) for comfort. They are also medicinal for grounding, calming, upliftment, and detoxification.

You can layer essential oils too. I wouldn't use more than three in a layering (to start). There's a “raindrop” technique I can teach you once you become acquainted with the oils. Each plant has its own spirit, so let them speak to you as to where and how they wish to help.

Trust your body.. try several different application sites and see where you like best (which may change from day to day)! Use caution however, many oils are irritating to the skin and eyes and should be mixed with a carrier oil to dilute them.

See my classes for more information on how to use pure, therapeutic grade essential oils as natural healers and therapeutic ingestibles. Do not settle for dilutions, perfume imitations, and synthetic imposters!

Does this help your introduction to essential oils?

I am happy to offer a complimentary oils orientation for you if you wish! It's pure joy for me to share the knowledge, so it would be an honor. Just let me know - contact me and we'll find a time. That way you can get started even before my intro class is offered!

Keep me posted on how medicinal essential oils are a part of your life.

Hao-La and peaceful journey.
